Happy Mother's Day

I dropped a call to my mum just now but she did not answer... Then I called my dad and chatted with him for about a minute and being told mum was taking shower, therefore she didn't pick up the phone...

After 15 minutes, mum dropped me a call :

Mum : Ya, son~~!! Anything ?? you called me just now ??

me : Ya, just want to update you...

Mum : So are you ok ??

me : Last 2 papers to go...

My heart was whispering to myself : Wish her Happy Mother's Day but I just do not know how to express it out verbally... Deep in my heart, I love her~~!!

me : Did Jie Jie and daddy bring you out for dinner as celebration ??

Mum : No, we will only make it when the time you come back home after your final exam for your birthday celebration as well...

I felt so guilty after I heard of that~~!! I was telling myself again : Please say it out, wish her~~!! But it failed.... Before the call ended, my mum wished me Happy Birthday first before I did it...

If she didn't tell me that, I would not reply her Happy Mother's Day and will just end the call with Bye Bye...

me : Ok, I have nothing to update you anymore, bye bye~~!!

Mum : Ok... Happy Birthday my son...

me : Happy Mother's Day to you too...

Last year, my birthday fell at the same day as Mother's Day... This year, my birthday falls on the day after Mother's Day... I should be thankful I have such a wonderful mum and dad who born me during the month of May~~!!
